Harley-Davidson Nightster recalled over faulty handlebar

1,100 units of the Nightster have been recalled in the USA.

Harley-Davidson has issued a recall for the Nightster over faulty handlebars.

The issue is said to have come to light after the left handle on a customer’s bike broke off. An inspection was carried out and it was found that poor weld quality led to the separation of the inner and outer sections.

Currently, 1,100 units of the Nightster manufactured between December 6, 2021 and September 9, 2022 have been recalled in the USA. It is still unclear if bikes sold in India are also affected by this issue.

The Nightster was launched in India back in August this year. The bike is powered by a 975cc, V-twin engine that develops 89 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 95 Nm @ 5,750 rpm.
