Harley Davidson Softail prices cut by up to Rs. 2.5 lakh

Harley Davidson has announced a price cut of up to Rs. 2.5 lakh on its Softail range in India. The Harley Davidson Fat Boy which was previously priced at Rs. 17,01,000 is now available for Rs. 14,99,990. The Heritage Softail Classic is now priced at Rs. 15,99,990 which is Rs. 2,50,010 less than the earlier price (all prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).

The above mentioned prices are applicable only on the Model Year 2017 Softail bikes. These discounts are a way to clear the stock available with the dealers so that the company can introduce the recently launched 2018 Softail range in India.

In addition to the price cut, Harley Davidson Finance has introduced a Bullet EMI scheme which includes reduced monthly payments (i.e. EMIs) and an increased lump sum paid once or multiple times each year depending on the term of the loan. EMIs start at Rs. 14,999 and Rs. 15,999 for the Fat Boy and Heritage Softail Classic models respectively.

The 2017 Fat Boy and Heritage Softail Classic are powered by the same 1,690 cc, air-cooled, V-twin cylinder engine with electronic fuel-injection, except for the fact that the engine on the Heritage Softail Classic has a lower compression ratio than the one on the Fat Boy. The 1,690 cc engine makes 125 Nm @ 3,500 rpm and 124 Nm @ 2,500 rpm in the Fat Boy and Heritage Softail Classic respectively.
