Harley-Davidson's LiveWire unveils electric maxi-scooter

The upcoming maxi-scooters are slated to make their debut sometime in the first half of 2026.

LiveWire - the electric motorcycle sub-brand of Harley-Davidson, has unveiled its first electric maxi-scooter.\\

The new maxi-scooter from LiveWire is said to be powered by the brand's S2 Arrow powertrain, which first debuted on the LiveWire S2 Del Mar electric motorcycle. The powertrain includes the structural battery, electric motor and all associated control hardware. The maxi-scooter also uses the same platform as the brand's electric motorcycle offerings.

In addition to this, LiveWire has also partnered with KYMCO - a Taiwanese scooter company. Allen Ko, Chairman of KYMCO, stated, "LiveWire is an iconic leader in electric solutions for urban mobility. We are excited to partner with them as LiveWire embarks on the development of a S2-based electric maxi-scooter."

The collaboration between KYMCO & LiveWire has also led to the Taiwanese scooter brand unveiling its updated RevoNEX electric motorcycle. The KYMCO RevoNEX is said to have been redesigned to use LiveWire's S2 Arrow powertrain.

The concept images of LiveWire's upcoming maxi-scooter have reportedly garnered positive responses. Reports do indicate that the upcoming maxi-scooters are slated to make their debut sometime in the first half of 2026.
