Hero MotoCorp has launched the Destini 125 in the Indian market. The scooter is available in three variants: VX, ZX and ZX+, with prices starting at Rs 80,450 (ex-showroom).
The latest iteration of the Hero Destini 125 was unveiled in September last year. The scooter has a slightly longer wheelbase of 1,302 mm and a larger seat measuring 785 mm in length. The underseat storage capacity is rated at 19 litres, and the fuel tank capacity is 5 litres.
The Destini 125 is powered by the same 124.6cc, single-cylinder engine as the outgoing model. This unit puts out 9 BHP and 10.4 Nm and is said to deliver a fuel efficiency of 59 km/l.
The Destini 125 has features such as an LED headlamp with DRLs and a digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, auto-cancelling indicators, and Hero’s i3S start/stop tech.
While the ZX and ZX+ variants get a front disc brake, the base variant has a drum brake in the front and an analogue instrument console.
