Hero MotoCorp Passion Pro facelift spotted on test

Hero MotoCorp has started testing a range of new products. Among them is this commuter motorcycle, which is believed to be a facelifted version of the Passion Pro.

The image shows the motorcycle in a golden shade with 5-spoke, black alloy wheels, long seat, black exhaust pipe and tail lamp which resembles that of the Passion Pro. The bike has a telescopic fork front suspension and twin hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear and drum brakes all round.

The motorcycle is expected to be powered by a new 100-110 cc engine developed in-house by Hero MotoCorp, unlike the current Passion, which has a power plant developed by Hero's former Japanese collaborator, Honda. With the new engine, Hero will not only be able sell this bike in India, but in international markets as well - something it could not do when it was using Honda engines.

More details on the motorcycle are awaited.
