Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition to launch soon

The Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition is expected to feature a new and exclusive livery that would include matte black treatment on multiple parts.

Hero MotoCorp will launch the Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition soon. The company has shared a teaser video of the same on its social media channels.

The Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition is likely to be a cosmetic update of the current model. It is expected to feature a new and exclusive livery that would include matte black treatment on multiple parts such as the fuel tank shrouds, side and rear body panels, and headlight mask. No major design changes are expected.

It is being anticipated that the Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition would come equipped with a Bluetooth connectivity option that would offer features such as turn-by-turn navigation, call alerts and more.

Powering the Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition would be the same 163cc air-cooled, 2-valve, single-cylinder engine that can be found in the current model. It is capable of delivering 15 BHP @ 8,500 rpm and 14 Nm @ 6,500 rpm. It is coupled to a 5-speed gearbox.

The suspension and braking setups are likely to remain unchanged, too. The Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition would have 37 mm telescopic forks at the front and a 7-step adjustable mono-shock at the back. Although Hero currently offers a drum brake variant of the Xtreme 160R, the Stealth Edition is expected to be made available with double discs only - 276 mm front and 220 mm rear.
