Heroes: A Netflix documentary about 4 racing legends

The film pays tribute to 7-time F1 champion Michael Schumacher and F1 race director Charlie Whiting.

Heroes is a documentary film about four racing legends - 2-time F1 world champion Mika Hakkinen, Ferrari F1 driver Felipe Massa, 9-time Le Mans winner Tom Kristensen and WRC runner-up Michele Mouton, with the focus primarily on 7-time F1 world champion Michael Schumacher.

Heroes is written by Manish Pandey - the man behind the film 'Senna' that told the story of the life and death of the Ayrton Senna.

In the latest documentary, Mika Hakkinen talks about his rivalry with Michael Schumacher right from the junior categories of racing. The on-track battles between them have been among the greatest spectacles in F1.

Tom Kristensen is popularly known as Mr. Le Mans and quite rightly so. He has nine Le Mans 24 Hours titles to his name. Felipe Massa grew up watching Ayrton Senna and eventually raced for one of the most celebrated teams in F1 - Ferrari.

Michele Mouton is the first and only female driver to have ever won in the World Rally Championship. She came close to winning the championship for Audi in 1982.

The film pays tribute to Schumacher who is battling for life after suffering a serious injury in a skiing accident in 2013. The movie also pays tribute to F1 race director Charlie Whiting who passed away in March last year.

You can watch Heroes on Netflix.
