Honda Amaze BS6 launched at Rs. 6.10 lakh

Honda has launched the updated Amaze with BS6 compliant petrol and diesel engines. The car is priced from Rs. 6.10 lakh for the petrol model and Rs. 7.56 lakh (ex-showroom) for the diesel.

The BS6 compliant 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine produces 89 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 110 Nm @ 4,800 rpm. It is available with a 5-speed manual and CVT.

The BS6 compliant 1.5-litre diesel unit comes with exhaust gas after-treatment system with NSC (NOx Storage Catalyst) and DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter). The Silver Thin Coated DPF is said to reduce PM combustion time by 40% compared to conventional DPF.

The engine produces 99 BHP @ 3,600 rpm and 200 Nm @ 1,750 rpm. The CVT variant makes 79 BHP @ 3,600 rpm and 160 Nm @ 1,750 rpm.
