Honda Cars India enters Guinness World Records books

Honda Cars India has entered the Guinness World Records books for its 'Longest Drive through Amazing India' campaign. The company now holds the record for the longest journey by a car in a single country. This journey was undertaken in an Amaze diesel. The car covered a distance of 23,800 kms across the length and breadth of the country.

The Amaze, driven by Bunny Punia and Shantonil Nag, was flagged off from Jodhpur on September 15, 2014 and lasted for 55 days. The journey saw the car travelling over mountainous terrains, coastlines, flat highways, congested city roads and the interiors of India. It touched more than 400 towns and made pit-stops at the major cities.

Honda had launched the campaign to celebrate the success of Amaze in India and for reaching 100,000 units sales milestone. This is the fastest in the history of Honda Cars India.
