Honda has released a new teaser of the upcoming City Hybrid, featuring the ZX e:HEV variant.

The Honda City Hybrid is expected to be offered in the top-spec 'ZX' trim with a host of active safety systems as part of the Honda Sensing package. It includes lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, auto high beam assist, emergency braking and a front collision warning system. The car will also be equipped with a sunroof and a subtle lip spoiler.

The City Hybrid will be powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that makes 97 BHP and 127 Nm. It comes paired with two electric motors for a combined output of 108 BHP and 253 Nm. While one of them acts as an integrated starter generator (ISG), the other powers the front wheels via a fixed ratio gearbox.

The Honda City Hybrid will make its India debut on April 14, 2022.
