Honda GL1800 Gold Wing recalled over an engine issue

Gold Wings manufactured between March 2018 and May 2021 have been recalled.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has issued a recall for the GL1800 Gold Wing over a potential engine issue.

According to Honda, Gold Wings manufactured between March 2018 and May 2021 have been recalled to address an issue with the primary drive fastening bolt. It is said that the bolt could break, causing the engine to stop.

Owners of affected motorcycles can get the faulty part at Honda BigWing dealerships across India starting in the third week of December 2024. The part will be replaced free of charge, irrespective of the bike’s warranty status.

Honda will be reaching out to owners of motorcycles affected by this recall. To check if their bike is part of the recall, owners can also enter their VIN on the Honda BigWing website.
