Honda is gearing up to reveal its first pure electric 2-wheeler for the Indian market. The new model, which is expected to be an electric scooter, could be unveiled on November 27.
Honda’s first electric 2-wheeler for India is likely to be an electric version of the popular Activa. The company has already said that it plans to leverage its ICE platform to develop electric 2-wheelers.Â
The performance of the new electric scooter will be on par with the Activa 110. It is likely to use Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries, offering a range of around 100 km on a single charge.
The new e-scooter from Honda will compete with models like the Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube, Ather Rizta, and Ola S1.
