Honda might delay Jazz launch in India to next fiscal

Earlier this year, Honda Cars India had indicated it would launch the new Jazz hatchback by March 2015. Now however, the company might have to delay the launch of the car to the next fiscal.

Honda claims that the demand for the City and Amaze sedans and the Mobilio MPV has been high. The Mobilio, in particular, has exceeded its expectations. The company has added a second shift at its new plant at Tapukara in Rajasthan.  Honda has not yet taken any decision as yet, but the launch of the Jazz is now expected to happen sometime in the next fiscal.

HCIL has managed to sell more than 1 lakh cars in the current financial year registering an overall growth of 43% during the period April - October 2014 with 1,01,442 units as against 70,831 units during the corresponding period last year.
