Honda Motorcycles & Scooter India Twitter account hacked

HMSI is yet to retake control of its Twitter account even as of today.

The official Twitter account of Honda Motorcycles & Scooter India (HMSI) has been hacked.

HMSI’s account was compromised over the weekend, following which, the company released an official statement on its Instagram handle.

Official statement:

We regret to inform our Twitter followers that our handle @honda2wheelerin has been hacked. Our internal team is working hard to resolve the issue and is in contact with the team at Twitter to re-establish control at the earliest. Kindly disregard any tweet received from the handle starting from 5th March 2023, and please do not engage with content shared by the handle until further notice.

The hacker has removed the profile picture and replaced the link to the official website with a third-party NFT page. HMSI is yet to retake control of its Twitter account even as of today.
