Honda NT1100 patent filed in India

The NT1100 is Honda's flagship touring bike based on the CRF1100L Africa Twin.

Honda has filed a patent for the NT1100 touring bike in India.

The Honda NT1100 is Honda's flagship offering. It is based on the CRF1100L Africa Twin. The bike features a semi-double cradle frame with a bolt-on aluminium sub-frame.

Powering the NT1100 is a 1,048cc, 8-valve, parallel-twin engine that produces 100 BHP @ 7,250 rpm and 104 Nm @ 6,250 rpm. The engine is mated to either a 6-speed gearbox or Honda’s DCT.

The NT1100 comes equipped with 43 mm Showa USD forks at the front and a Showa mono-shock at the rear. The braking setup includes 310 mm twin discs with radially-mounted calipers up front and a single 256 mm disc at the back along with ABS.

The 2022 Honda NT1100 comes with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), Wheelie Control, three default riding modes (Urban, Rain, Tour), and two customisable riding modes. The bike also features a 6.5-inch TFT touch screen that offers Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Bluetooth connectivity options.
