Honda releases teaser video of rumoured CB Hornet 200R

Honda has released a teaser video of a new motorcycle on its social media channels, which will be launched on August 27, 2020.

While Honda has not revealed any details about the upcoming motorcycle, there have been reports that the company is working on a 200cc motorcycle for India. It is likely that the motorcycle in the video is the same bike.

At present, Honda does not have a BS6-compliant product in the 200-250cc category. It is rumoured that the company is introducing the Hornet with a larger engine. The bike could be called the CB Hornet 200R.

The video shows a naked bike with an upside-down suspension fork finished in gold at the front, an LED headlamp and a fully-digital instrument cluster. The bike is finished in a dual-tone blue and grey colour scheme.

It is believed that the new bike will be powered by a reworked version of the 184cc engine from the Honda CBF 190R.
