HondaJet now on sale in India

The Honda Aircraft Company has appointed Arrow Aircraft Sales and Charters Pvt. Ltd. as its authorised sales representative for the HondaJet in India. The announcement was made at Begumpet Airport during Wings India 2018, where the HondaJet was showcased for the first time in India.

The HondaJet is Honda's first commercial aircraft. It measures 12.99 meters in length and 4.54 meters in height. The aircraft has a wingspan of 12.12 meters and can carry up to 7 people, including 2 crew. It also has a fully serviceable lavatory in the back of the cabin.

The HondaJet is powered by twin GE Honda HF120 turbofan engines, each producing 2,050 pound-feet of thrust. The engines are mounted on an Over-The-Wing Engine Mount (OTWEM). This configuration is claimed by the company to improve performance and fuel efficiency by reducing aerodynamic drag, while also reducing cabin noise and minimizing ground-detected noise. The maximum cruising speed of the airplane is 422 knots (782 km/h) at an altitude of 30,000 feet.

The HondaJet comes with a glass flight deck with Honda-customized Garmin G3000 integrated avionics system with touchscreen.
