Honda's 2W dispatches surpass Hero MotoCorp in February 2025

Honda’s exports have been considerably higher compared to its rival.

Hero MotoCorp has been the market leader in the domestic 2-wheeler segment for years. Of late though, rival Honda has been giving it a tough fight.

For the third time in the current fiscal, Honda’s 2-wheeler dispatches surpassed those of Hero MotoCorp. The company dispatched 3.83 lakh units compared to Hero’s 3.75 lakh units in February 2025.

In terms of overall sales, which include domestic sales as well as exports, Honda leads Hero by 55,000 units. Honda sold 54.04 lakh units during YTD FY2025 compared to Hero’s 53.49 lakh units.

Hero’s domestic sales between April and February stood at 51.01 lakh units, while Honda sold 49.25 lakh units during the same period.

While domestic sales of both brands have been neck and neck, with Hero edging out ever so slightly, Honda’s exports have been considerably higher compared to its rival.
