Husqvarna E-Pilen concept bike unveiled; claims 100 km range

Husqvarna E-Pilen concept motorcycle unveiled. The Swedish two-wheeler brand has entered the e-mobility segment with its new Vitpilen and Svartpilen-inspired EV concept.

Husqvarna has entered the e-mobility segment with the introduction of its E-Pilen concept. The concept is said to preview the brand's future zero-emissions product range.

The Husqvarna E-Pilen is said to have been inspired by the Vitpilen and Svartpilen models. This, the company hopes, will help broaden the brand's appeal to both existing and new audiences alike.

Husqvarna confirmed that the new E-Pilen comes with an electric powertrain, with a power output of 8 kW (or 10.7 BHP). The bike has a claimed range of 100 km on a single charge. Husqvarna is yet to announce the exact details of the battery and the motor on offer.

The company is also looking at offering different battery options, including fixed and swappable solutions. The E-Pilen concept that was showcased, featured a modular and swappable battery system.

The Swedish two-wheeler brand also confirmed that the development of its e-mobility range is underway. Husqvarna plans to reveal more details of its upcoming electric bike in the near future.
