Husqvarna Vitpilen & Svarpilen 250 unveiled at IBW 2019

Bajaj has launched the Husqvarna brand in India with the unveiling of the Vitpilen and Svartpilen 250. The bikes were showcased at the India Bike Week in Goa and are scheduled to go on sale in February 2020.

Both bikes are based on the KTM Duke 250. The Vitpilen 250 has a sportier design with clip-on handlebars and a front lean riding position. The Svartpilen 250 features a more rugged design with an upright stance and is equipped with dual purpose tyres. Both bikes come with an LED headlight and tail light as well as 17-inch alloy wheels.

The Vitpilen 250 and Svartpilen 250 are powered by a 248.8cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 31 BHP @ 9,000 rpm and 24 Nm @ 7,250 rpm. The bikes have a WP Apex upside down fork suspension at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Both bikes come with Bosch dual-channel ABS.
