The Creta Electric comes equipped with “eco-friendly seats” and a 22-litre frunk.

Hyundai is all set to launch the Creta Electric at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo. Having revealed the technical specs earlier this week, the carmaker has now shared some more details of the electric SUV.

The Creta Electric has a wheelbase of 2,610 mm and comes with a 433-litre boot and a 22-litre storage space at the front, also known as frunk.

The Creta Electric features a two-tone interior in Granite Gray and Dark Navy colour scheme, complimented by Ocean Blue ambient lighting. The electric version will have a unique 3-spoke steering wheel and dual 10.25-inch displays for the touchscreen infotainment system and the digital instrument cluster. It also gets a touch-type Dual Automatic Temperature Control system, which has a driver-only mode to maximise range.

The Creta Electric comes equipped with “eco-friendly seats”. These are made using sustainable materials like recycled plastic bottles and corn extract. It has 8-way power-adjustable front seats, a memory function for the driver’s seat and a powered passenger seat walk-in device that allows the rear occupant to electrically adjust the front passenger seat forward.

The Creta Electric will be available with two battery options: 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh, offering a range of 390 km and 473 km, respectively. The carmaker has now announced that the 42 kWh variant will have 133 BHP, while the long-range version will have 169 BHP and is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 7.9 seconds.
