Hyundai has finally announced the prices for one of the most anticipated cars of 2025, the Creta Electric. The EV is available in four variants: Executive, Smart, Premium and Excellence, with prices starting at Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Creta Electric looks similar to the ICE version. It has a blanked-off front grille with vertically stacked headlamps, L-shaped LED DRLs and taillights, and LED light bars are both ends. The car rides on aero-optimized 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels shod with Low Rolling Resistance tyres and comes with Active Air Flaps that are said to improve aerodynamic performance.
Inside, the Creta Electric gets dual 10.25-inch screens and a unique 3-spoke steering wheel with a column-mounted shift-by-wire gear selector. The centre armrest has also been redesigned. It houses a rotary selector for the drive mode, an electric parking brake, and two cupholders.
Other features include a Bose audio system, automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, a cooled glove box, cooled storage under the front armrest, voice commands, and over 70 connected features.
The Creta Electric is available with two battery options: 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh, offering a range of 390 km and 473 km, respectively. The 42 kWh variant is paired with a 133 BHP electric motor, while the long-range version has a 169 BHP motor. The latter is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 7.9 seconds.
The electric SUV is offered with a Digital Key, allowing users to lock, unlock, and start the vehicle using their smartphone or smartwatch. It comes with Level 2 ADAS, which includes features like Lane Keeping Assist, Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Collision Warning, and Smart Cruise control with stop and go. Other safety features include 6 airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, rain-sensing wipers, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, Hill-Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, ESC, VSM, ISOFIX and TPMS.
