Hyundai Creta facelift launched in South Africa

The Creta facelift is expected to be launched in India by the end of 2022.

Hyundai has introduced the Creta facelift in the South African market. It is expected to arrive at our shores by the end of this year.

The updated Creta features the 'parametric jewel' design similar to the new Tucson. It has LED daytime running lights integrated into the radiator grille and large vertically stacked headlamp clusters. The new Creta gets a reworked rear end with tweaked tail lamps, among other changes.

Inside, the Creta facelift comes with new features, including a rear parking camera, cruise control, wireless charger and electrically adjustable & foldable ORVMs. The Indian version is likely to be better equipped with a digital instrument cluster and ventilated seats.

In South Africa, the Creta facelift is available with a 1.5-litre petrol engine producing 113 BHP and 144 Nm. The engine is mated to either a 6-speed manual or a CVT.
