Hyundai Exter to be offered in 13 petrol & 2 CNG variants

Hyundai expected to announce the prices of the Exter later this year. It will compete with the Tata Punch and Citroen C3.

Earlier this week, Hyundai unveiled a new crossover called the Exter. It will be available with two engine and gearbox options, and bookings are now open.

According to the brochure, the Exter will be available in as many as 13 petrol variants. These include EX, EX(O), S, S(O), SX and SX(O) trims. Additionally, customers will be able to choose from two CNG variants – S and SX.

The Hyundai Exter will be available with a 1.2-litre petrol engine mated to either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT and a CNG version equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission.

The Exter will be offered in six monotone and three dual-tone colour options, including two new shades of Cosmic Blue and Ranger Khaki.
