Hyundai Exter exterior revealed ahead of launch

The Hyundai Exter will be available in five trims: EX, S, SX, SX(O) and SX(O) Connect. It will be launched on July 10, 2023.

Hyundai has released a new image of the upcoming Exter compact SUV. The latest image showcases the car's rear end.

The Exter is Hyundai's newest sub-4 metre SUV that will compete with the likes of the Tata Punch and Citroen C3. It features a rugged look with squared-off wheel arches and black cladding all around. The SUV has an upright front fascia with square headlamp pods and H-shaped LED daytime running lights, while its rear features wraparound H-shaped tail lights with black trim in the centre and a silver skid plate.

The Exter comes equipped with several features including an electric sunroof, a dashcam with dual cameras and 26 different safety features. This includes 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, VSM, Hill Assist Control and Burglar Alarm.

The Exter will be offered with three powertrain options. These include a 1.2-litre petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual and AMT and a CNG version equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
