Hyundai i20 N-line: 5 quick observations about seating comfort

The only addition I made to the seats was to add a neck pillow that I loved from Sparco.

It's really good! I have had some back problems personally, so sitting in the same spot for over an hour is noticeably difficult for me, but I regularly travel for 2-3 hours in a stretch across Delhi NCR without any issues.

  • The leather seats are very well cushioned with decent lumbar and thigh support.
  • The gripping seats hold you in tightly reducing the stress your hip and spine have to deal with to keep you in place during turns
  • They have excellent quality leather
  • Seats are a looker with all black and red embossings + stitchings
  • I believe these are the best seats you can find in the segment and can be compared with what cars offer you 1-2 segments above as well.

The only addition I made to the seats was to add a neck pillow that I loved from Sparco.

My one challenge though - The seat adjustment for me was a little getting used to. The first time I got into the car, the seat felt very upright and difficult to sit in. And adjusting it one tilt setting backward, felt that I was leaning back too much.

So it took some time to adjust the seats to my preference and height (5'10'') and to get used to driving the car with the seats set leaning back a bit and as low as possible (almost like a sports car), but that's how Hyundai wanted it to be I suppose.

Once you have the seat in the right position, it's super comfortable though.
