Hyundai offers wired-to-wireless adapter on 6 more models

The wired-to-wireless adapter is now available for Grand i10 NIOS, Aura, Exter, Venue, Venue N Line and Verna.

Earlier this year, Hyundai introduced a wired-to-wireless adapter for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay in the Alcazar. This feature is now available across six more models.

The wired-to-wireless adapter is now available for Grand i10 NIOS, Aura, Exter, Venue, Venue N Line and Verna. It is meant for models that are equipped with the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which currently does not offer wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The wired-to-wireless adapter is essentially a wireless dongle that plugs into the USB port, allowing users to seamlessly connect their smartphones with the onboard infotainment system. It is priced at Rs 4,499.

Going forward, Hyundai might offer the wired-to-wireless adapter on more models. Models that are equipped with the 8-inch infotainment system, though, do have wireless connectivity.
