Hyundai Venue facelift variant details leaked

The top-spec Venue SX (O) could get 6 airbags, 4-way power driver seat, ambient lighting among other features.

Hyundai is gearing up to launch the Venue facelift on June 16. Now, a new report has revealed the variant details of the updated model.

According to the media report, the Venue facelift will be offered in six variants – E, S, S+, S (O), SX and SX (O).

Features like tilt steering, dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, central locking with speed-sensing lock and ISOFIX will be offered as standard across all variants.

The S variant is expected to get features such as automatic headlamps, a digital instrument cluster, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, electric ORVMs, rear AC vents and TPMS, to name a few.

The S+ and S (O) trims are likely to come equipped with LED projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights, cornering lamps, a height-adjustable driver seat, and a rear parking camera, among other features.

Finally, the SX trim could get 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, reclining rear seat, electric sunroof, automatic climate control, auto-fold ORVMs, wireless charger and cruise control. Besides the aforementioned features, the top-spec SX (O) is likely to be offered with ambient lighting, a 4-way power driver seat, an auto air purifier and 6-airbags.

The 2022 Venue will be offered with the same engine options as the outgoing model. These include a 998cc turbo petrol with 118 BHP and 172 Nm, 1.2-litre petrol producing 82 BHP and 115 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel that makes 99 BHP and 240 Nm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
