Authorities around the world have issued warnings to not attempt the Kiki challenge. The move comes after many people were injured trying to do it.

The challenge involves getting out of a moving car and dancing alongside it to the song 'In my feelings' by Drake. It went viral after a comedian called 'Shiggy' posted a video of himself dancing on Instagram.

Videos uploaded online show people hitting poles, tripping on bad roads or falling out of the vehicles. In one of the videos, a man was hit by a car, while in another one, a woman had her purse stolen.

They have also mentioned that those found doing this challenge on public roads would face criminal charges. Drivers in the state of Florida could be fined US$ 1,000 as well.

Through its official Twitter handle, the Mumbai Police has warned that the Kiki challenge not only endangers those attempting it, but also others. It has warned that attempting the challenge is likely to attract strict action.

The Hyderabad Police has released a press note stating that it would be charging people attempting the challenge under Section 268 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 70(b) of the Hyderabad City Police Act, for creating nuisance and endangering life of others on the road.
