India's first McLaren 620R has been delivered to a customer in Bangalore. The car is finished in blue and is the 65th car of 350 cars built.

The 620R is a road-legal version of the 570S GT4 race car. It is powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 610 BHP and 620 Nm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 0-100 km/h time is claimed to be 2.8 seconds.

The sports car has improved aerodynamics, bucket seats with six-point harnesses, adjustable dampers, adjustable rear wing, stiffer engine mounts, carbon-ceramic brakes, and a 7.0-inch touchscreen system for track telemetry software.
