India-spec Yamaha Aerox 155 technical details out

The Yamaha Aerox 155 was first spotted in India way back in 2018. The scooter has now received a Type Approval Certificate, which indicates that the launch could be just around the corner.

The Aerox 155 is a maxi-scooter that is expected to rival the Aprilia SXR 160 in the Indian market. It measures 1,980 mm in length, 700 mm in width, 1,150 mm in height, and its wheelbase is 1,350 mm. The scooter's gross weight is 276 kg.

The Aerox 155 is powered by a 155cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 14.75 BHP @ 8,000 rpm. It will be paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). It rides on 14-inch alloy wheels.

The Aerox 155 is expected to get features such as a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, LED headlights and tail lights, keyless go and a charging port.
