Indian Superbike League to kick off by year end

Ducati has been confirmed as one of the motorcycle suppliers for the league.

The Indian Superbike League has been officially launched. Sanctioned by the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), the professional motorcycle racing series aims to transform motorsports in the country. The inaugural season will kick off this year's end.

The India Superbike League will be held in four cities in three rounds: Chennai, Bangalore, Pune and Mumbai. The franchise-based league will feature multiple motorcycle classes and four categories: Pro Categories (Two Classes), Amateur Class, Female Rider Class and Rookie Class.

The Indian Superbike League has been envisioned along the lines of elite racing series such as the British Superbike and Japanese Superbike. It aims to develop a local ecosystem with Indian riders, technicians, and crew members. It will provide a platform for local riders to develop their skills to compete at the highest level.

The Dhuleva Group is one of the key investors in the Indian Superbike League. Ducati has been confirmed as one of the motorcycle suppliers for the league.
