Indonesia: Toyota Innova Crysta facelift revealed

The Innova Crysta facelift could be launched in India sometime in 2021.

Toyota has revealed the updated Innova Crysta for the Indonesian market.

As part of the update, the Innova Crysta gets a new front fascia featuring a redesigned grille. The new front bumper houses the turn indicators in triangular pods and has circular fog lamps positioned lower down.

At the rear, the Innova Crysta gets subtle updates like the black centre section and tail lamp surround. The MPV also gets new 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Toyota hasn't made any major changes to the interior. The MPV gets an all-black treatment and a new twin-pod instrument cluster. The centre console houses a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit that has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Other features include an air purifier, cruise control, ambient lighting, reverse camera, 7 airbags, vehicle stability control and hill start assist.

In Indonesia, the Innova Crysta is offered with a 2.0-litre petrol and a 2.4-litre diesel engine. In India, the pre-facelift version come with BS6-compliant 2.7-litre petrol and 2.4-litre diesel engine options. Both engines come with either a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.

Toyota could introduce the Innova Crysta facelift in India sometime next year.
