Jeep Avenger EV with up to 550 km range revealed

The Avenger EV comes with either two or four electric motors, powered by a 54 kWh battery pack.

Jeep has showcased its first all-electric SUV, the Avenger EV, at the Paris Motor Show.

In terms of its design, the Avenger EV looks like a typical Jeep. It has a blanked-off grille flanked by rectangular headlamp clusters. The chunky rear end features rectangular tail lamps with X-shaped LED elements.

Inside, the Avenger EV gets a sleek-looking dashboard with trim that matches the exterior colour. There’s a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the centre and a digital instrument cluster.

The Avenger EV comes with either two or four electric motors, producing 154 BHP and 260 Nm. The car packs a 54 kWh battery pack said to offer a maximum range of 400 km (WLTP cycle) and up to 550 km depending on the driving conditions.

According to Jeep, the battery pack can be charged from 20-80% in 24 minutes using a 100 kW DC charger. It takes 5.5 hours to charge from 0-100% using an 11 kW AC charger.
