Is Jeep India taking a dig at Mahindra Thar in a new video?

In a recently released video, Jeep India seems to be taking a dig at the 2020 Mahindra Thar. The video has been titled 'The Originals'.

The video showcases inventions and pieces of art like the Wright Flyer and the Mona Lisa. Interestingly, in the video, the narrator says that originals are never followers and that they are imitated. At the end of the video, a Willys Jeep is shown with the wordings 'There's Only One' below it.

The video comes after Mahindra revealed their latest product, the Thar, which looks largely similar to the Jeep Wrangler. Earlier this year, FCA won a case against Mahindra in the USA after a judge found that the design of the Roxor was a copy of the Jeep. Mahindra then changed its design, including the grille.
