According to media reports, Kawasaki is gearing up to launch the Ninja 1100SX in India this month.
The Ninja 1100SX was unveiled in October this year. It replaces the Ninja 1000SX and features a larger engine with slightly more torque than the outgoing version.
The Ninja 1100SX is powered by a 1,099cc instead of the old 1,043cc unit. It delivers 134 BHP @ 9,000 rpm and 113 Nm @ 7,600 rpm and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. According to Kawasaki, the bike now gets longer 5th and 6th gears - with the bi-directional quick-shifter said to operate at as low as 1,500 rpm.
The Ninja 1100SX comes in a new top-spec SE variant, which is equipped with an Ohlins S46 rear shock absorber with remote pre-load adjustment, Brembo brakes and heated grips.
In terms of features, the 1100SX gets electronic cruise control, power modes, cornering management, traction control, ABS and a USB-C port.
