Kawasaki Z H2 launched at Rs. 21.90 lakh

The Z H2 is powered by the supercharged 4-cylinder engine from the Ninja H2 superbike.

Kawasaki has launched the naked version of the Ninja H2 superbike in India. The Z H2 and Z H2 SE are priced at Rs. 21.90 lakh and Rs. 25.90 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. As the bikes are built to order customers need to make full payment while booking the motorcycle.

The Z H2 looks like a typical naked superbike from Kawasaki's Z range, except that this top-of-the-range model looks way more aggressive than the rest. The bike features an exposed trellis frame, stepped seat and a single side-mounted exhaust.

The Z H2 is powered by a 998cc, supercharged 4-cyinder engine that produces 197 BHP. While it's a similar engine to the Ninja H2 superbike, it is said to have been tuned for better low and mid-range. The bike comes with four riding modes - Road, Rain, Sport and Rider. Additionally, the rider can also select from three power modes - Full, Mid and Low.

The Z H2 comes equipped with fully-adjustable Showa Separate Function Big Piston Fork at the front and a Showa Uni Track monoshock at the rear. The SE variant gets Kawasaki Electronic Control Suspension (KECS) with Showa's Skyhook technology and Brembo Stylema brakes.

Other features include Kawasaki Launch Control, Traction Control, Cruise Control and a 4.3-inch digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity via Rideology app.

The Z H2 and Z H2 SE are available in a single dual-tone colour option - Metallic Diablo Black / Golden Blazed Green.
