Kawasaki Z650RS launched at Rs. 6.65 lakh

Kawasaki has launched the Z650RS at Rs. 6.65 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price, the Z650RS is Rs. 41,000 dearer than the Kawasaki Z650 which is the most affordable model in the brand’s Z range of motorcycles in India. It retails at Rs. 6.24 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Kawasaki Z650RS is powered by a 649cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin, DOHC engine that has been tuned to produce 67 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 64 Nm @ 6,700 rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Weighing at 192 kg (kerb), the Z650RS has a wheelbase of 1,405 mm. The motorcycle is 2,065 mm long, 800 mm wide and 1,115 mm tall. It has a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres.

The suspension setup on the Kawasaki Z650RS includes a pair of 41 mm telescopic forks at the front and a horizontal back-link with preload adjustability at the back. Braking comes from 300 mm dual front discs and a 220 mm single rear disc.

The Kawasaki Z650RS is available in two colours - Candy Emerald Green and Metallic Moondust Gray. Deliveries of the motorcycle will commence from either the end of November or starting of December 2021.
