Kawasaki Z650RS spied testing in India

The Kawasaki Z650RS is expected to be launched in India by the end of 2021 or early next year.

The Kawasaki Z650RS was globally unveiled in September this year. Now, it has been spied testing in India.

The Z650RS is based on the same platform that underpins the Kawasaki Z650 naked middleweight. It features a twin-pod instrument cluster, round LED headlamp, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and circular rearview mirrors.

Powering the Kawasaki Z650RS is a 649cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 67 BHP and 68 Nm. This is the same engine that also powers the Z650 and Kawasaki Ninja 650.

In terms of hardware, the Z650RS comes equipped with 41 mm telescopic forks at the front and a horizontal-link mono-shock at the back. For the brakes, there are twin 300 mm front discs and a single 200 mm rear disc. Kawasaki has also included ABS.
