Kia Carens bookings open on January 14, 2022

The Kia Carens is essentially a 7-seat version of the Seltos.

Kia has just announced that bookings for the Carens will commence from January 14, 2022.

The Kia Carens was unveiled earlier this month. It is essentially a 7-seat version of the Seltos. It will be offered with the same powertrain options as well. These include a 1.5-litre petrol engine producing 113 BHP and 144 Nm, a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol with 138 BHP and 242 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel that puts out 113 BHP and 250 Nm.

The Carens will be offered with a wide range of transmission options including a 6-speed manual, iMT, CVT, dual-clutch automatic and torque convertor automatic.

The Carens comes equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with an 8-speaker Bose audio system. The car has features like a digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, automatic climate control with an air purifier and retractable rear trays with cupholders, ambient lighting, sunroof, among others.
