Kia Carens variant details officially revealed

Official bookings for the Kia Carens open on January 14, 2022.

Kia has confirmed that the Carens will be offered in five trims - Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury and Luxury Plus. Bookings open on January 14, 2022.

The Kia Carens is the 3-row version of the Seltos, which will go on sale later this year. It will be available in six and seven-seat configurations. 

The Carens comes equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with an 8-speaker Bose audio system. The car has features like a digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, automatic climate control with an air purifier and retractable rear trays with cupholders, ambient lighting, sunroof, among others.

The Carens will be offered with the same powertrain options as the Seltos. These include a 1.5-litre petrol engine producing 113 BHP and 144 Nm, a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol with 138 BHP and 242 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel that puts out 113 BHP and 250 Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual, 7-speed dual-clutch automatic and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic.
