A Kia Carnival Hi-Limousine variant has been spotted testing in Bangalore. The car was showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo, but no plans for its launch in India were revealed.

The Hi-Limousine variant is more luxurious than the Carnival presently on sale. The car comes with features like a raised roof and curtains. It also gets features like second-row luxury VIP seats with leg support, a roof-mounted 21.5-inch smart monitor, driver and passenger heated and ventilated seats, Harman Kardon 8-speaker audio system, 8.0-inch touchscreen head-unit, and tri-zone automatic climate control.

Powering the Carnival Hi-Limousine is a 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 197 BHP @ 3,800 rpm and 440 Nm @ 1,750 - 2,750 rpm. The engine is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
