Kia Carnival receives 1,410 bookings in one day

According to Kia, 1,410 Carnival MPVs were booked on the first day of pre-bookings alone. The MPV will be launched at the 2020 Auto Expo.

Pre-bookings for the Carnival had opened on January 21, 2020. The carmaker claims that 64 out of every 100 bookings are for the top-end Limousine trim.

The Kia Carnival will be offered in three variants - Premium, Prestige and Limousine and in 7, 8 or 9 seat configuration.

The Carnival will be powered by a 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine. It produces 197 BHP @ 3,800 rpm and 440 Nm @ 1,500-2,750 rpm. The engine will be paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
