Kia has filed a trademark application for 'EV6' in India.

The Kia EV6 is an all-electric crossover based on the Hyundai Group's Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). It could be one of the six electric cars that the company has lined up for the Indian market.

The futuristic EV uses a 77.4 kWh battery pack that powers an electric motor that has an output of 225 BHP and 350 Nm. It is sufficient to accelerate the car from 0-100 km/h in 7.3 seconds. Kia claims the EV6 can cover up to 739 km on a single charge.

The EV6 is also offered with a dual-motor setup. This variant packs 320 BHP and 605 Nm and has a maximum range of 669 km.
