Kia Seltos variant details leaked

According to a leaked document, the Kia Seltos is likely to come in 3 petrol variants - GTK, GTX and GTX+ and 5 diesel trims - HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX and HTX+.

The base petrol trim (GTK) is likely to get LED headlamps and tail lights, LED light bar, LED fog lamps and mood lighting with sound effects, 17-inch alloy wheels, steering mounted control, cruise control, smart key with push button start, reclining rear seats with rear AC vents and Bluetooth. It is expected to be offered with a 1.5-litre, naturally aspirated engine and a 1.4-litre turbocharged unit with a 6-speed manual transmission.

The GTX trim could get a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with UVO Connect features, 7.0-inch MID and 8.0-inch head-up display. It is likely to get climate control, wireless charging, rain sensing wipers, driving modes, tyre pressure monitoring and 6 airbags. Powertrain options available on this variant might include a 1.5-litre engine paired with a 6-speed manual or CVT and a 1.4-litre turbo petrol paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

According to the leaked document, the GTX+ is only available with the 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. This variant gets a Bose 8-speaker audio system, 8-way power adjustable driver seat, power sunroof, 360-degree camera, ventilated seats and front parking sensors. 

HTE is the base diesel trim of the Seltos, as per the leaked document. It could get features such as shark-fin antenna, front and rear faux skid plates, 4-speaker audio system, steering mounted controls, rear AC vents and follow-me-home headlamps. It is expected to be offered with a 1.5-litre diesel engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The HTK trim is expected to get the same set of features as the GTK variant. The 1.5-litre diesel engine is likely to be offered with a 6-speed manual transmission only.

The HTK+ trim could get projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights, LED mood lighting with sound effects, cruise control, smart key with push button start, power folding ORVMs, rear sunshade and one-touch up and down for driver's window. This variant could be offered with a 1.5-litre diesel engine with a choice of 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.

The HTX is likely to come with LED headlamps and tail lights, LED daytime running lights, LED light bar and LED fog lamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with UVO Connect features, 7-inch MID, wireless charging, USB ports for second row, reclining rear seats with 60:40 split, leather-wrapped steering wheel and tyre pressure monitoring system. It could be offered with a 1.5-litre diesel engine mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The HTX+ trim could get UV cut glass, 8-way power adjustable driver seat, 8-speaker Bose audio system, 360-degree camera, driver rear view monitor, ventilated seats, wireless charging, power sunroof, driving modes and rain-sensing wipers. Safety features might include 6 airbags, Vehicle stability management, Brake assist, Hill start assist, ESC, front parking sensors and Blind spot monitor. It is likely to be available with a 1.5-litre diesel engine paired with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox.
