Kia has unveiled its new sub-4 meter SUV called the Sonet. It shares its platform with the Hyundai Venue and will be launched in India this festive season.

Just like the Seltos, the Sonet will also come in GT Line and Tech Line trims. The car seen in these images is the GT Line. It comes with a dual-tone exterior with red highlights. It also features a typical tiger nose grille that is finished in gloss black. The top-of-the-line trim of the Sonet is equipped with LED headlights that have integrated LED daytime running lights and slim LED tail lights with an LED light bar. Overall, the flared wheel arches filled with 16-inch alloy wheels give the car a muscular look.

The Sonet GT Line comes with all-black interiors with red contrast stitching. The 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit and instrument cluster is housed within single horizontal panel that has a piano black surround. The touchscreen AVN is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and has UVO Connect (voice assist, telematics and 57 other features), while the instrument cluster has a digital speedometer, a 4.2-inch MID and an analogue tachometer.

The Kia Sonet is packed with features such as Smart Key remote engine start, ventilated front seats, 7-speaker Bose audio system, ambient lighting, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, sunroof, cruise control, front centre armrest with air purifier, wireless charging with cooling function, Over-The-Air (OTA) map updates, Multi-Drive Traction Modes and Grip Control on the automatic variants.

The 1.0-litre turbo petrol comes with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. In addition to a 6-speed manual, the 1.5-litre diesel is also available with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The car also gets a 5-speed manual and 6-speed iMT clutchless gearbox.
