The Kia Syros is all set to make its global debut this month. Now, fresh details have emerged ahead of its formal unveiling. Reports suggest that the new compact SUV will get reclining rear seats, a feature that is also available in the Hyundai Venue.
The Kia Syros is expected to be positioned above the Sonet. It will be more feature-rich, offering functionalities like Terrain Modes, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, and a more advanced ADAS.
The Syros is also expected to be roomier on the inside than the Sonet, partly because of its tall-boy design. Reclining seats will only help enhance the rear seat comfort further.
The Kia Syros is expected to come with two engine options. These include a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 118 BHP and 172 Nm, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT, and a 1.5-litre diesel with 113 BHP and 250 Nm, which will be paired with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic.
The Kia Syros will be officially revealed on December 19. Prices are likely to be announced at the Bharat Mobility Expo next month.
