KTM has revealed the 390 Adventure R, the most off-road-focused version of the 390 Adventure, at EICMA 2024.
The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure R is based on an all-new chassis. It features a typical ADV look with a raised front fender, a tall windscreen, a single-piece seat, and raised handlebars. The bike is fitted with a vertically stacked headlamp unit with LED DRLs, auxiliary lights, and a digital instrument console.
The 390 Adventure R is powered by the same liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that debuted on the 390 Duke. This unit produces 45.3 BHP and 39 Nm and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox via a bi-directional quick-shifter.
The more hardcore R variant of the 390 Adventure comes equipped with an adjustable WP fork and an offset mono-shock. The bike rides on wire-spoke wheels with 21 inches at the front and 18 inches at the rear. The wheels are wrapped in off-road tyres.
The ADV comes with disc brakes. Note that the front disc brake also gets a protective shroud.
