KTM 390 Duke recalled for 'Monsoon kit' fitment

KTM has silently recalled the 390 Duke in order to install a "Monsoon kit". All 2017 and 2018 model year bikes have been recalled for this purpose.

The "Monsoon kit" includes a new ECU bracket and pillion seat damping bushes. It has been reported that the new ECU bracket has been designed to protect the ECU from the elements, while the new pillion seat bushings will increase the gap between the seat and the tail light to prevent it from cracking under load.

KTM will also be fixing the headlamp vibration issue that customers have been reporting. Some users have complained about the LED headlamp turning off randomly, which will be fixed by updating the software. All updates will be done free of cost.
