KTM 890 Duke R launched at Rs 14.50 lakh

The 890 Duke R is powered by an 890cc, parallel-twin engine that makes 121 BHP and 99 Nm.

Today, KTM launched its big bike range in the Indian market. The KTM 890 Duke R is now available in India, priced at Rs 14.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

The 890 Duke R is a typical KTM streetfighter with an aggressive stance. It has minimal bodywork with an angular design, sharp LED headlamps, a stepped seat, and an upswept exhaust.

The 890 Duke R is powered by an 890cc, liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces 121 BHP and 99 Nm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox via a slipper clutch. 

The 890 Duke R is based on a tubular steel frame suspended using a WP Apex fork at the front and a WP monoshock at the rear. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels and is equipped with dual 320 mm discs at the front and a single 240 mm disc brake at the rear.

The KTM 890 Duke R comes with a host of features and safety aids. These include lean-sensitive traction control, cornering ABS, a could TFT instrument console, and three riding modes: Rain, Street and Sport.
